HISTORY
The founders were Luis Lerdo de Tejada y Lerdo de Tejada & Ma. Del Carmen Martínez Castro.
Luis Lerdo de Tejada y Lerdo de Tejada the founder and brain behind was a young entrepreneur with a vision and a dream. He was already working in the moving industry for some time, he fell in love with the moving industry, and with the right allies, soon he would be the owner of his own company creating his first: TRANSCONTAINER, S.A. in 1973.
The idea for the company logo came to him while playing chess, and noticing that the piece with the most advantage in mobility was the knight; he then decided this was the accurate symbol to represent his company.
His wife, María del Carmen Martínez Castro, joined later and pushed the business further with her vision to innovate and improve. Their drive in the business was the key to success for Transcontainer, they led the company to be classified as one of the best moving companies in Mexico and the world. It was no surprise that later, their 4 children joined the company inspired by their parents' love and passion for this business. Convinced that the personality of a leading company is a reflection of its own people, our commitment is to generate a sense of belonging through a culture of work, respect and warmth, in which all its members feel recognition, support and the pride that represents being part of this great family.
